With only a couple of hours before the league trading deadline Vourvoura traded seldom used G Jimmy Retzos to Lola's for a 12 pack of Miller Lite and a 6 pack of Redstripe. GM Ike Karavangelos made the deal to provide Lola's with more depth as the injury bug has really hurt them this year.

Vourvoura owner Demetri Papoulias said "we all like Jimmy, but we like beer better, especially Miller Lite. We wish Jimmy the best of luck. He's won 2 Greek League championships with us and he felt it was time for a change of scenery."
