Silver Spring, MD - For the
third consecutive year G Jimmy (Demetrios) Retzos get traded. The aging
veteran for Vourvoura seemed to have a falling out with Vourvoura owners
Nick and Demetri Papoulias. Jimmy claims the owners treated stars such as
GJ Kissal and Pete Lambis much better. "Other players can show up whenever
they want drunk to games. The ownership is why this once storied franchise
keeps losing! They have lost control of the team."
Vourvoura trades Jimmy Retzos to the expansion Matrix Movement for a keg
of Samual Adams. The move reunites Retzos with another ex-Vourvoura Hall
of Famer Milton Dartoozos. There have been rumblings that Retzos will
retire. He did not show up for pre-season camp. When asked if he plans on
continuing his career Retzos said "I don't know what I want to do. Maybe
I'll start a band?"
